ffpipe for Claude
ffpipe gives Claude a set of media tools. Share a link to a video and Claude can work with it for you:

Checking your balance and checking on a job are free. Files up to
100 MB, from any https link ffpipe can download.
Connect it
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and add a custom
connector with this URL:
https://staging.ffpipe.dev/connector/mcp - Claude opens an ffpipe sign-in page. Enter your email address and open the sign-in link we send you. There is no password.
- The sign-in page names the app asking and the access it wants: to see your credit balance and to submit media jobs. Opening the link approves it, and Claude is connected.
Credits and pricing
Jobs are paid from your ffpipe account's prepaid credit balance. One credit is $0.01. Credits come in one-time packs, with no subscription:
- 500 credits for $5.00
- 2500 credits for $20.00
Save a card on your account page and each month your balance is topped up to 25 free credits. Saving a card charges nothing. Card payments are handled by Stripe; card details never reach ffpipe. If your balance is too low for a job, Claude tells you and gives you a link to top up. Nothing is ever charged automatically.
How results work
Jobs run in the background. Claude starts a job, checks on it, and once it is finished gives you download links. Download what you need within 24 hours; ffpipe is not long-term storage. If a job fails on our side, its credits are refunded automatically.

Your data
- Your account stores your email address, your purchases and whether a card is saved. We send only sign-in emails, never marketing.
- Source files are deleted when their job ends, and never kept longer than 7 days. Results are deleted no later than 7 days after completion.
- Through the connection Claude can see your email address, your credit balance, whether a card is saved, and the jobs it starts. It cannot see your purchase history or your card details.

Disconnect or close your account
To disconnect, remove ffpipe under Settings → Connectors in Claude. A connection also expires by itself after 30 days. To close your account, sign in on the account page and use Close my account. That erases your email address, removes your saved card and disconnects every app. Unused paid credits bought in the last 30 days can be refunded if you ask before closing.
